Jakub Michal has long been involved in fundraising, financing and managing projects in the field of social integration. In the years 2005–2015, he was a project manager at People in Need, he was the developer and manager of a number of successful projects co-financed by the European Union through operational programs. For four years he worked as a consultant and methodologist in the government Agency for Social Inclusion. Here he participated in building a system of project consultancy for institutions involved in solving the issue of social exclusion. He works as a therapist in the Ústí addiction clinic of the DRUG-OUT Klub organization.
Projekt „Systémové zajištění péče pro vězněné uživatele drog a její následná kontinuita po propuštění“ je finančně podpořen finančním mechanismem Norské fondy 2014–2021 v Programu Spravedlnost. Projekt je realizován v partnerství s organizacemi Centrum protidrogové prevence a terapie, o.p.s., KOTEC, o.p.s., Laxus z.ú., Magdalena, o.p.s., SANANIM z.ú., Společnost Podané ruce o.p.s.
